RUMORS OF RETIREMENT (Australian and N.Z. Press Association.) LONDON, August 6. There are persistent rumors in newspaper circles that Lord Stonehaven contemplates retirement before his term expires. Lord Stonehaven, Governor-General of the Commonwealth of Australia, was appointed to the office in 1925. He had previously had a distinguished political career at Home and abroad.
