i TO-NIGIIT’S FEATURES IYA will relay the Auckland Piano Students Association’s recital. After 9.30 p.ih. there will be items from the studio. The vocalists will be Miss Stacpooie and Mr. Frank Sutherland. 3YA: The fourth, and last act of “Carmen” will be presented. A miscellaneous programme will support the operatic section. The Melodious Four will sing nursery rhymes. Instrumental quintets will be played by the Bohemians. There will be pianoforte items by Miss Merle Miller. Solos will be sung by Miss Frances llamerton, Miss Belie Ttenaut, Mr, Russell Sumner and Mr. T. I). Williams. Recitations will be given by Mrs. Margaret. Williams'. ” 4YA : Two one-act plays will be acted by the Winkel-Lompon radio players. The first play is called “’Op-o-me-Thumb,” and the other “Calais to Dover. the supporting vocalists will he Miss Thelma Blackman, singing the latest ponular songs, Mr. W. Ruffell (baritone), and Mr. “Blister” Brown, Scottish comedian, singing Lauder songs. 2YA: Silent day. 2FC, Sydney: Barbara and Will James, banjoists. 4QG, Brisbane: Dance night.
