SCHOOLS FOR THE DEAF
BETTER PROVISION SOUGHT (Per Prese Association.) AUCKLAND, last night. Replying to a deputation which sought ii larger school in Auckland for deaf children and those suffering from defective speech, the Minister of Education, the Hon. H. Atmore, promised additional assistance for the present school, which is attached .to Newton East School. Ho said he would discuss with Cabinet the possibility for the establishment of a special school.
