ASSAULT ON GIRL

SEAMEN PLEAD GUILTY (Por Press Association.) WESTPORT, last night. At the Police Court to-day, Colin Clyde Austin and George bdeu Charles Hayward, off s.s. Kaiwarra, who were remanded in custody oil Saturday last, appeared before Messrs. .1. Seanlon and 15. 11. Pox, .1 's.l\, on charges of a criminal assault concerning a local girl aged 17 years, and.one on a charge of assault concerning her brother, aged 15. The offcii'ces weip alleged to have taken place when the girl and her brother were returning home from a dance laat Saturday morning. Accused pleaded guilty to both charges and were committed for sentence to the Supreme Court.
