MINISTER FOR IRELAND (Australian and N.Z. Press Association.) y ROME, May 11. The Osservatore'Romano states that the Irish Free State lias applied; to the Vatican for diplomatic relations, adding that the Holy See has benevolently accepted the request, and when the usual preliminaries are carried out it, will send a representative to Dublin and be happy to receive the Free State’s accredited Minister.
