TO-NIGHT’S FEATURES IYA: Appropriately selecting “Three Little Maids from School” (from “The Mikado”) as their opening number, the Celeste Trio of lady vocalists will introduce themselves. Another feature of this programme will be a “potted pantomime,” or half an hour with “Sinbad.” This will be presented by five entertainers calling themselves the Potted Panto Players. 2YA: The Wellington Municipal Tramways Band under the conductorship of Mr. T. Good all will provide a studio concert, assisted by the following artists: Mr- Wilbur Davies, bass-baritone, Mr. Will Hancock, tenor, Miss Edith ißuekmaster, contralto, Miss Nita Hopkins, soprano, while Miss Rose Carte and partner will provide two humorous sketches. The outstanding hand items Will be Suppe's well known overture “Katja, the Dancer,” a selection by Strauss, “My Son John,” and a Ibonanza “Era Un Re.” 3YA: The well-known Christchurch musician. Mr. Victor C. Peters, who is leaving shortly for the Old Country, will he farewelled. It will be a unique broadcast function. A splendid musical programme has been arranged, and during the evening the usual valedictory speeches will he made. The contributing artists will bo Miss Jessie Duff, Miss Dorothy -Spilier, Miss Marjory Nelson, Miss Vera Martin, Messrs. L. O. Quane, Finlay Robb, Mr. Douglas Buckling, Mr. W. J. Spratt, Mr. Harold Beck, ‘cellist, and Miss Winifred Smith, elocutionist. Mr. Peters is well known to all listeners throughout New Zealand as ehoinnasler at Oxford Terrace Baptist Church'. Incidentally, this church will be on the air on Sunday, April 14, when Mr. Peters will do his final broadcasting in New Zealand.
