The members of the Main Highways Board, who will arrive in Marton from the north on April 19, will be met by representatives of the Jlangitytei County Council, when one of the chief topics of discussion will be the subsidy for the new Bulls bridge. The present bridge, which lias long served its purpose, is the bottle-neck link between Wellington and Auckland. The bridge which is proposed will be a two-way structure and the most up-to-date of its kind in Now Zealand.
