Tho executive'of the United Party in Hamilton has decided to make arrangements to give Sir Joseph Ward a fitting reception on his visit to Hamilton to open tho Winter Show. Now branches of the United Party are being formed in tho district, and gratification was expressed at the growing feeling of optimism since the United Government took office. A motion was passed recommending that Hamilton he tho political centre for the Hamilton, Waikato, Tauranga, Raglan, Ohinernuri, and Bay of Plenty electorates.
