LJUBLJANA (Laibach), Jugoslavia. An exhibition of English art has been opened here in the presence of many distinguished people, including the Minister Plenipotentiary of Great Britain in Jugoslavia, Air. W. H. Kennard. who gave an address on the development of art and literature in England. An “English Week” will soon bo observed in Ljubljana, during which intellectual leaders will try to make the Slovenes more familiar with English cultural and social achievements. On leaving Ljubljana the exhibition will go to Zagreb and Belgrade. An Anglo-Jugo-slav club with headquarters in Belgrade is doing much to create cordial relations between the two peoples.
