BUTCHER'S DEATH
EXTRAORDINARY ACCIDENT
SYDNEY. March 15
An extriiordinnry case of electrocution was disclosed at- the inquest held- by the Parramatta Pistri.t Cowner, Mr. H. Richardson Clark, concerning the dwib. of Stanlev Nicbolls, 34. s butcher, who died at Ins shop at Park road. Auburn, on Februarv 11.
.Tolni William Bull said he saw Nicbolls holding on to an ox tail, which was suspended from the iron railing upon which moat was hung. As Nicbolls cottld not let go witness pulled him awav, and be dropped to the floor dead. Earlier thai day witness bad received an elect t-it- shock from a piece of wet string that was suspended from the iron railmg-
Thomas Hvam, of the City Ooraioii electricitv department, aid that"" the electrical installation had been performed carelessly, and an elbow in the conduit, whuh had become loose, bad worn the insulation from tbo electric wires. cacsing them to touch the conduit, which in turn touched the iron railing, and so conveyed electric current to the ox tail and into the man's bodv.
