(Special to the Hera Id .1 AUCKLAND, this day. Although not affected by recent heavv rains, dairy production figures in the Auckland’province for the fortnight ended on Wednesday maintain the remarkable increase that has been shown throughout the current dairying season. The quantity of butter and -cheese produced during the period is a little over 26 per cent.larger than in the corresponding fortnight of 1928, while the yield for the season to date exceeds by over 16 per cent, tha* of the corresponding-period of the previous season. During the present season to date 1 845,540 boxes of butter and 114.002 crates of cheese have been received into store. The corresponding figures in the preceding season were 1,60.., 862 boxes of butter and 127,237 erates of cheese. The aggregate butter-fat pro Auction was 90,750,5101 b. in 1028-29, and 83,745,9191 b. in 1927-28.
