LATE MR T. BAKER
ESTATE EXCEEDS £270,000 MELBOURNE, February 1. The Victorian portion, of the estate of the late Mr. Thomas Baker, managing director of Kodak, Australasia, Pty., Ltd., has been valued for probate purposes at £260,935. His properly in other States has a value of £I6,OiJO or £17,000. He bequeathed 5000 of his shares in Kodak Australasia Pty, Ltd., to or for the benefit of each of the following persons: His nephew, Mr. Bertio George Bell; his niece, Mrs. Lillian Grace, the wife of' Mr. James Denistowun Grace; his nephew, Dr. H. C. RBell, and the five children of his late brother, Mr. Richard Baker. Mr. Baker provided for pecuniary legacies of £3COO to certain employees! In-{addition, ho has provided for .legacies to other employees having eight years' service, the payment in each case to bo based on fho length of service. To his sister. Lady Brown, of Adelaide, Mr. Baker gave ail annuity of £5lO, and to his sister-in-law, Mrs. Anna Martha Baker, an annuity of £2lO. After making provision for his wife and sister-in-law during' their lives, Mr. Baker proceeds by bis! will to create a trust fund, the income from which is to be paid in perpetuity for such charitable purposes as his trustees think fit, the trustees are to pay not less than £SOOO a year to the Thomas Baker, Alice Baker* ami Eleanor Shaw medical institute.
