CAR INTERESTS LINKED WITH AVIATION NEW YORK, Dec. 17. The biggest merger yet undertaken in the rapidly-growing aviation industry lias boon completed with the organisation of the United Aircraft and Transport Corporation, having securities with a market value in excess of £30,090,000. The deal was arranged under the auspices of the National City Bank of New York and the Pacific National Bank of Seattle. Much significance is attached to an official announcement that the executives of the General Motors Corporation, the Ford Motor Co., the Stnndnrd Oil Co., and the National City Bank — four dominant interests in their respective fields-*—will be included in the board of directors.
