A SEVERE STORM
DISTURBANCE IN SYDNEY HOUSE STRUCK BY LIGHTNING (Received Feb. 5, noon.) SYDNEY, Feb. !>. A severe thunderstorm struck Sydney last night, disorganising tram and telephone services. Many electriclight services also failed. A house at Drummoyne was struck by lightning. Two nu T n were also struck, one at Coogee, and the other at Kandwick. Dozens of minor street accidents also occurred in the torrents o( rain. A substantial fall also was recorded along the south coast, which had experienced particularly dry weather. The indications point to good rain over the eastern divisions of the State. '
