GISBORNE CLUB Playing in the champion singles on the Gisborne Bowling Chib’s green yesterday afternoon, Stephenson 23 defeated Sinclair 11, while Robertson 17 lost to Sutton 22. The remaining members participated in a. further round o' the club fours competition and ordinary games, most of which resulted in close and interesting matches. POVERTY BAY CLUB Owing to most of the members taking part in the inter-club matches at the Kahutia Bowling Club yesterday after noon, there was only.a small attendance on the Poverty Bay club’s green.
