(Herald Correspondent.) Mr. S. B. Shortt, of Wellington, who is visiting his brother at Morere, and who is organist and choirmaster at St. Peter’s, Wellington, presided at the organ at the service here, at which Mrs. Page, also of Wellington, rendered a solo.—Mr. and Mrs. Henderson, of Gis borne, are camping here.—Mr. F. flail kin, master of the losal school, after a tour in the south, has returned in readiness for the opening of die .school. —Mr. and Mrs. Page and family have returned to Wellington.—Mr. and Mrs Taafe and family with Mrs. and Miss Glynan, after spending tjie holiday season here, have returned- to Fraser town.—Mr. Foster, master of the pikokino native school, and Mrs. Foster, have been camping at Morere prior te leaving for Gisborne.—Miss Heather and Master Alex. Mcfvor are guests at “Sunnvbrae.” —Master Eric Smith, o J Gisborne, has accepted a position with Mr. Black, of Morere.—Miss Alice Haskins, of Manutuke. is the guest o f Mrs. Swarhrick, Wharerata. —Miss T. Swarbrick is a guest of Mrs. Haskins at Manutuke.
