TOURNAMENT AT TIMARU (Per Press Association.) TIMARU, this day. The final stages’ of the South Canterbury Bowling Centre’s Christmas tournament were reached in-day. The weather during ’the tournament has been very broken, games thus being prolonged. The South Canterbury fours was won by a local rink, who defeated Tima.ru by one on an extra bead. Play was of a high standard throughout. The South Canterbury pairs was won by Eiford and Morgan (Edgeware), who beat Wilmington and Lowry (West End), bv two on the last bead
