MEMORANDA
The hanks throughout the Dominion are this year observing December 3J and January 1 as the New Year holidays, instead of January 1 ami 2 as usual, thereby consolidating the holiday with the week-end. , The Rev. Geo. Frost conducts both services to-morrow* in Wesley Church, Bright street. At the evening service a number of Christmas carols will be rendered by the choir.
The Salvation Army Hand will render a first-class musical programme outside the Coronation hotel on New Year's Eve at 7.30 p.m. This being the last programme of the old year a large audience is expected to hear a weil-arrauged programme.
