PEARCE WINS AGAIN • SYDNEY, Dec. 26. At Balmain regatta to-day, Pearce, the Olympic : representative, conceded the New Zealander, Jackson, 12 seconds’ start over 1 three-quarters of a, mile course,* the spectators including Bill Beach and -Bill Webb, two former world’s champions. Pearce won by two lengths, hut Jackson had the misfortune to foul another competitor when in a. handy position, and ruined what promised to he a splendid finish.
