The Attorney-General, in his annual report, shows that although 370 'ships of various si/.os were seized Wythe American Preventive .Service, this •failed to stem the 'tide „nf bootleg liquor, which has grown steadily, especially from Canada. Canadian Customs official figures show that whisky worth £.1,000,009 has been shipped to the United States during the current year, which is an increase o’f 71 per cent, in -three years.
