WEDDING
McEWEN—PRESTON The Mnngapapa Methodist Church was the scene of the wedding on Wednesday evening of Alice, third (laughter of Mr. and -Mrs. R. Preston, of Winter street, Mnngapapa, to Thomas Hannah, youngest, son of Mrs. A. McEwen and the late Mr. Andley McEwen, of Albert street, To llapara. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. 1. M. Raynor. The bride, who entered the church on the arm of her father, looked charming m a French model frock of hydrangea iilne crcpe-de-chcnc. She wore a picture hat and carried a bouquet of pale oink sweet peas and asparagus fern. Miss Mavis Preston, sister of the bride, was bridesmaid and Mr. James Preston, best man. After the ceremony about 40 guests adjourned to the home of the bride’s parents, where an enjoyable breakfast was partaken of and the usual toasts honored.
