dents or directors of loading Canadian distilleries, were indicted to-day on charges of conspiracy and of hootlegging in American herder cities. The managing directors of Hiram Walker and Sons and Gooderliam, Worts and Co., leading distillers, wen; amongst those named, and the jurors declared that they would also name officials of some Canadian hanks for handling drafts for the payment of bootlegging shipments.
