Several daylight robberies of residences have been reported from Healey Avenue and Caledonian road. • Christchurch (states the Lyttelton Times). In one case a woman found a man on the premises and chased him. He showed a better turn of speed and escaped. In another case the house had been “turned upside down,” everything movable having been thrown upon tho floors of the various rooms.
