At a conference last evening at which, delegates from the hockey and soccer associations, and the (dishorn© Amateur Athletic and Harrier Club wore present, permission was granted the Athletic club to provide a 440vd. track at the reserve, instead of the present 541 yd. course. The new track will he of greater advantage to competitors, and will lie welcomed by members of the executive, who are responsible for marking the track in. pre,, paration for sports meetings.
