A P. and 0. branch line, commencing with the Borda on December 6, will despatch one-class, steamers to Australia, via Suez and the Cape alternately. Both outward and homeward vessels on the- Suez route will call at .Malta, Port Said, Colombo, Fremantle, Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney, and Brisbane.

The voyage from London to Fremantle will occupy 35 d'ays, saying three days, and Sydney to London, via Suez, 49 days, saving 10 days.
