Before tlie Coal Commission to-day. J. Mostvn, a former .Lord Mayor of Sydney, flatly declined to produce an agreement between bis wife and the Austral Investment Co., and also flatly refused to answer any questions regarding the nature of shares held by his wife. Ho submitted a medical certificate .saying that Iris wife was too ii! to attend.
Tlie witness complained that lie re reived bis subpoena only last night.
