Rex Bn don, 25, who was arrested at Wellington on Friday on a charge ot being.found in a girl s bedroom at Ronwicktown. near Blenheim, at 4.30 a.m. on Thursday last, and with assaulting the parents of the girl when she called tlumi in. pleaded guilty this morning at the Blenheim court, and urged drunkenness as extenuating the circumstances. He stated that he had no evil intent, and merely entered the room through a window to .have a talk. When the parents arrived lie naturally attempted to get away and a .scuffle ensued. Ihe magistrate accepted the explanation, and on the accused promising to take out a prohibition order ordered him to come up for sentence within six months. On the major charge lie fined him £5 for assault and ordered him to pay the costs of the prosecution, to 14s,
