JAPANESE LEGATION
OTTAWA APPOINTMENT (Australian Press Assn.—United Service.; (Received Julv 21, noon.) .. ■ OTTAWA, July 20. The Premier, Mr. Mackenzie King, announced that the Japanese legation at Ottawa will be officially opened on Friday. Mr. Shuh Tomie, ex-Oonsul-(ionerni nf Ottawa, has been Appointed first secretary pending the appointment of ; a Minister Plenipotentiary.
It is not likely that the Canadian legation at Tokio will be opened before the autumn.
