IN COOK COUNTY APPLICATION FOR GRANTS In anticipation of next summer's Toad works, the Cook County Council nt yesterday'* meeting prepared the list of work's on. which, it was proposed to apply for grants and subsidies. The estimated cost of the main highway expenditure on new works was estimated at £45,4.10, of which the. council's share is given as £19,025/while maintenance, costs were computed at £18,145, with £725S as the council's share.
