Ah May, a Chinese -eqolie, was on trial to-daV for the murder of another coolie in a plantation near Apia an March last. Another coolie, Wong Lee, who was arrested last, week on suspicion in connection with, the murder of two girls in Mugele's plantation last. October, effected his escape from the lock-up by tearing up the flooring last Wednesday. He has not yet been captured.
