SPOKANE, March 7. Tom Sawyer, whose adventures as recounted 1 by Mark Twain have caused millions to laugh and weep, is dead. Mrs. FlaviUa .Pineo, of Coeur Dalene, Idaho,' stated to-day that her brother, Thomas Sawyer, who died last month in Arizona and was buried in Ontario, was the original of tho famous writers hero. Maple Twain,' she raid, first met Torn Sawyer on a river boat on the Mississippi.' ,
