BRITAIN AND GERMANY POST-WAR DEVELOPMENT (Australian and N.Z. Press Association.. . BERLIN, April 11. Lord Birkenhead, who is on a golfing holiday, was entertained at- dinner by prominent politicians and blinkers. He said that even in the darkest days of the war Britain always bad a feeling oi sincere admiration for Germany's achievements. This sentiment was enhanced when it was seen how wonderfully Cerman commerce and industrv had overcome the difficulties with which it was confronted by the country's defeat. Ho hoped friendly co-operation between the nations would prevail in future. Lord Birkenhead inspected' the Lufthansa, depot, and flew over the city.
