With her bands playing H.M.A.B. Sydney completed her last voyage and entered Portsmouth harbor yesterday. Special honor was paid to Rear Admiral Hyde as the first Australian admiral to visit Portsmouth, salutes of 17 guns being fired from the shore batteries and the ships. The vessel goes into the warship harbor preparatory to her sale or demolition. The crew will bo transferred to the new Australian cruiser in May.
