SPECIAL PRIZES The following were winners of special prizes at the recent meeting, of the Matawai Dog Trial Club: — Stockbrokers’ rose bowl, for best team of three dogs: W. L. E lime vs’ Tip, Speed, and Don. Mr W. L. FJlinevs' cup for dog scoring most- points in both heads: W, L. Ellmer’s Speed. Stonehnm cup. for champion dog: .J. Grace’s Glen. Nasmith cup, for competitor scoring most points : Mr. McDonald. Mr T. Quirk’s trophy for’ dog that has never previously won at a trial, scoring most points: W. Movtlemnn. Mr D. J. Barry’s trophy for runnerup to champion dog: A. Bulst’s Pat. Mr E. S. Goldsmith’s trophy for unplaced dog scoring most points in Class I: F. Cleary’s Nell. Adair Bros.’ trophy for clog scoring most points for head in Class III: R. McKenzie’s Spark. Mr A. J. Hustler’s trophy .for unplaced dog scoring most points in Class JII: W. Mortleman’fc Val. Mr E. S. Goldsmith’s trophy for unplaced dog scoring most points' in Class II: R. McKenzie's Spark. Mr A, J. Hustler’s trophy for dog showing best, style at yard': W. L. Ellmers’ Speed. Mr W. Hayes’ trophy for competitor who has never won a special prize scoring most points : K. McKenzie. Primrose and Leslie’s trophy for dog completing hunt in fastest time: J. Grace’s Glen. Mr T. Scholium’s trophy for committeemen’s dog scoring most points: A. Bulst’s Pat. Secretary’s trophy for youngest lady competitor: Mrs Lynch.
