A recommendation that the police should lie called in to check the incessant “honking” of motor horns, which disturbed public worship on Sundays, caused several members of the Christchurch Presbytery to smile at- a recent meeting, The recommendation, which was contained in a communication from the convener of the Presbyterian Assembly’s Sabbath observance committee, was referred to the Presbytery’s life and work committee.
