SHOTS IN DIVORCE COURT

ROME, Feb. 20. During the private hearing of a case for divorce before the police judge at Rapallo, the husband, who was the plaintiff, suddenly fired five revolver shots at his rival, a certain Signor Benvenuti, of Santa Margherita, who fell down gravely wounded. Tho incident cause Meat confusion in the court room, but the husband quietly laid the empty revolver on the desk of the judge and submitted without resistance to arrest. The victim was taken to hospital in a hopeless condition, with four bullets in the abdomen.
