MURDER IN SAMOA
CHINESE COOLIE KNIFED (By Radio, Special to Press. Assn.) - . APIA, March 28. _ In a plantation 'near Apia, in tho vicinity of the Lotopa murders in October, this morning a Chinese coolie was discovered murdered. He bore knife wounds similar to those of the Lotopa victims, and a money-belt worn by the c.oolio was missing. [ln October last a brutal double murder was reported at Lotopa, near Apia. A half-caste girl, Louisa Mugela, .and a Samoan girl, Fatamalii, were'.hacked to death with a sharp knife by an unknown assailant. .The girls were in their home alone asleep, and the crime was discover® 1 when the father returned at midnight.] ■ •
