“OKAIHAU” CLEARING SALE
The result of tlie “Okaihau” clearing sale held at Mangamaia by Messrs. Dalgety and Co. yesterday was quite satisfactory to Messrs. D. and M. Campbell, who 'are disposing of their stock on account of the expiry of the lease. A total of 5400 sheep were offered and all were sold. Thirty horses also were offered.
The prices are: Two-tooth ewes, 200 23s 2d, 200 at 225, 170 at 21s 4d; fiveyear ewes, 520 at 16s, 250 at, 15s 4d; four-tooth ewes, 200 at 17s 6d; six and eight-tooth ewes, 218 at 15s 6d; twotooth wethers, 300 at 20s 7d, 100 at 20s, 150 at 19s 9,d, 134 at 19s lid; wether lambs, 1100 at 12s; . 850 ewe lambs 12s Id; 200 mixed sex lambs 7s sd; 194 mixed sex lambs 6s 9d; 270 mixed age ewes 5s 7d; 108 six-year ewes IQs; 62 two-tooth ewes 10s; 100 lambs 4s 3d; 55 rams £1 to £2 6s; 30 horses £2 to £l4
