In the. House of Commons Mr. Walter Guinness announced that a quarantine station is being erected in East India dock for pedigree stock bound for the Dominions, mid would be ready for the reception of. animals in April, under the management of the Royal Agricultural Society, and charged to the Empire marketing fund. This would enable exports of pedigree animals to proceed without tin* interruptions hitherto due to foot and mouth disease. It was hoped to erect a similar station in Glasgow under the Royal Highland Agricultural Society.
