She is due here to-morrow morning 1o discharge. 'The Kahika, loading for Napier and Gisborne, was expected to leave Dunedin to-day for Ganiaru, Tirnaru, Lyttelton and Wellington. She is due at Gisborne to discharge about February 28 or >29. The Katoa loading in the roadstead here yesterday afternoon and sailed for Lyttelton. The Tahiti leaves Sydney to-morrow for Wellington, Rarotonga, Papeete and San Francisco. The Makura leaves San Francisco today for Papeete, Rarotonga, Wellington and Sydney. The Putiki departed hence early last evening for Wellington. From vne miter port she proceeds to Greymoutli to load for Waikokopu. The Pakura is duo here to-day from Tirnaru, and sails later on her return trip to the southern port. The Awahou was to leave Auckland last night for the coast and Gisborne. She is due here on Friday, and sails the same evening on her return trip to Auckland. The Parera left. Wellington last night for Napier and Gisborne. She is due here on Friday, and sails that evening for Wellington. The Tiroa is expected to arrive heie to-morrow morning from the coast ana Auckland, She sails in the evening for Auckland, via Hicks'Bay. > The auxiliary schooner Elsie Mary left Auckland early yesterday afternoon for Gisborne. She fs due here to-morrow morning and sails for Auckland on Friday. The 0. and, D. Lino steamer Port Bowen left Auckland last night for Opua. to load frozen meat. She will leave Opua, to-morrow morning for Gisborne and is due here on Friday afternoon. At this port tire steamer will load frozen meat from both works and in addition a, quantity of tallow and wool. She will be despatch-
ed later for Napier, and sails finally from Auckland' about, March 10 for London and West Coast ports of the, "United Kingdom, via, Panama. The Mako loft; Auckland on Saturday evening for the East Coast, hut was forced to return owing 1o engine trouble. She left again this morning. The Our bar was loading at Auckland to-day for coast ports and Gisborne, and is expected to arrive hero on Monday. The baro-i meter showed a slight upward movement. Temperatures at 9 o’clock were: Auckland and Opotiki 74. degrees, Tauvanga 73, East Cape 71, Gisborne 68, Napier 69, Wanganui 64. and Wellington 62. Rough seas were reported at Cape Palliser and Cape Campbell; moderate or smooth elsewhere.
