PRIVATE HOSES BANNED i . THOSE ON METERS PERMITTED As a result of the council’s decision Inst night, the use iof nil hoses not on meters is forbidden in the borough of Gisborne. Blair, who remarked: “The water is getting so short that we will have to prohibit the use of hoses, whether they are attended or not.’’ He moved that the use of hoses should lie banned. Or. F.
