In connection with llerr Crooner's appointment ;is German Minister of Defence, in placo of Dr. Geisslor, tin 1 ' Daily Express' Berlin correspondent says President Hindonborg made a remarkable choice in selecting an old comrado-in-arms, one of the ablest men in Germany, despite the violent opposition of the Nationalists. The appointment will probably result in llerr Greener becoming the next President. He is not only a staunch upholder of the republic, but a courageous patriot and a groat soldier. It was on his advice that Wilhelm abdicated.
