MIGRATION BLAMED
UNEMPLOYMENT IN N.S.W. WORST TOR 27 YEARS (Received Jan. 21, noon). SYDNEY, Jan. 21, Mr. J. Garden, secretary of the Trades and Labor Council, states that there are 20,000 unskilled workers unemployed throughout New South Wales. He says more unemployment exists now than at any other period since the beginning of the century, and one of the factors responsible for the present state of affairs is the unrestricted immigration policy of the Federal Government. Each week hundreds of migrants arrive from overseas.
