SERIOUS COLLISION

YOUNG WOMAN INJURED (Per Press Association.) HAMILTON, this day. A serious accident occurred on Gordon* ton road at 7.30 a.m. to-day when in a fog a heavy collision occurred between a car driven by Mr. L. Sweeny, of Hamilton, and another driven by Dr. Bernstein, of Morrinsville. Miss Gower, of Gordon ton, a passenger in Mr. Sweeny’s tear, was hurled through the windscreen, sustaining cuts bn the throat- and' severe shock. She is reported to be in a very serious condition. .
