HOW FAIRHALL WON "SYDNEY, Dec. 30. Once again Tommy Eairlutll Inis beaten an Auckland boxer. At the Leichhardt Stadium on Friday the Australian just managed to snatch victory from Reg. Trowern, who is not experiencing much difficulty in finding matches in Sydney these days. The Aucklander fought strongly and confidently in the early rounds, but a" recent illness had sapped the stamina from his body, and he felt the strain after tho sixth round, at which stage Fairliall exerted himself, and by better boxing managed to win over the 1.5 rounds on points.
