INDIAN STEAMER SUNK

LOSS OF 120 LIVES. BOMBAY, November 16. A cyclone has worked havoc on the coast of Western India, where many fishing boats ligve been lost and 120 persons drowned by the sinking of the Indian Co-operative Steam Navi* gat ion Co.’s coastal passenger ship Tukaram, which was submerged by gigantic waves. Five survivors clung to the wreckage and were drifted lo Pori Janjh'H,. about TOO miles south of Bombay. The deaths were wholly among Indians. The Bombay Ste,am Navigation Co.’s coastal ship Javanti, with 31 Indian passengers on board, i,s missing, and the worst is feared.
