Commandant A. Wheeler and Adjutant N. Marshall, who have been in charge of the Salvation Army here for the past year, are to leave on January 10 for Napier. Their places here will be filled by Adjutant and Mrs. 1,. Tong, of Napier. * The Kia Ora Co-operative Dairy Co. announced to-day a further decrease in the prices of its two brands, Kia Ora and Roseland. Tbe first-mentioned In-ami, which during the early part of the wepk sold at Is 8d per lb., will retail at Is 6d, while the Roseland brand, lately selling at Is 7d, will be reduced correspondingly. The ruling prices are below the London parity.
