Concluding events in the decathlon contests were: Throwing the Javelin.—lveskiven 166 ft. 1, Sutherland 148 ft. 2, 1500 metres.—lveskiven (4.57 2-5) 1, Sutherland (6.4) 2. The final points were: Iveskiven 6433.78, a new Australasian record; Sutherland 5942.6; Walker. 2881.12; Hunt 2649.76; Shirley,' 1C05.6. Iveskiven remains meanwhile in New Zealand and will take part in the Dunedin meeting.
