MR. STANLEY L. PATERSON' (Per Press Association.) AUCKLAND,' this day. Mr. Stanley Logan Paterson, of the firm of Meredith,, Paterson, and Hubble, lias boon appointed to the magisterial bench. Ho was born in Napier and educated in -Christchurch, obtaining his degree at ''Canterbury College in 19.16, in which year he was admitted as a barrister und solicitor. He served in the New Zealand Expeditionary Force from 191fi to 1938,
