Mr. L. F. de Berry, M.A., headmaster of Central School, Palmerston North, has received the appointment of headmaster of Dunedin Normal School. Drs. Krahman (Germany) and Bossard (Switzerland), who have been conducting preliminary scientific experiments at Waipatiki in the quest for oil, left for New Plymouth on Friday to engage in similar work there. /> Mr. R. J. Veale, agricultural master on the staff of the Wajrarapa' High School, has resigned to accept a position with the Agricultural Department in Tasmania. Mr. E. R. Hudson, B.Sc, who was at one time on the teaching staff of tho Wanganui Technical College and is at present on the staff of the Training College, Dunedin, has been appointed a supervisor in the Tasmanian Department of Agriculture. He. will commence his duties early in 1928.
